In 2007, founder Robert Selland created the Gift of Golf. The Gift of Golf is a volunteer driven organization formed for the sole purpose of providing scholarships and opportunities for teens who are interested in learning and playing the game of golf. As a competitive junior golfer, Mr. Selland learned through his own experience that there are very few options for raising funds or obtaining scholarships for youth who want to pursue golf interests in the Spokane area.
Our 2011 goals are to award at least 6 summer junior golf passes, free driving range passes, free golf clinics and hold the 2nd Annual Spokane Junior Series golf tournaments.
